STAFFING RATIOS & ORGANIZATION PATTERNS

STAFFING RATIOS Wicomico County Board of Education advocates a small student-teacher ratio using the following staffing ratio guidelines: • Pre-K 20 • Primary (Kindergarten-3) 25 • Intermediate (4-5) 27 • Secondary (6-12) 27 ORGANIZATIONAL PATTERNS Elementary schools have a variety of organizational patterns (see below). Middle schools are organized Grades 6-8. High schools are organized Grades 9-12. Organization patterns for the individual schools follow: • Beaver Run Elementary PreK-2 • Bennett Middle 6-8 • Chipman Elementary PreK-1 • Delmar Elementary PreK-4 • East Salisbury Elementary 3-5 • Fruitland Primary PreK-2 • Fruitland Intermediate 3-5 • Glen Avenue Elementary 2-5 • James M.
